Having a military background and a track record in the private sector since 2011, Roy boasts a well-rounded skill set that enables them to provide valuable support to organizations across a wide range of subject areas.
In the role of Partner Advisory at Grant Thornton in the Dutch Caribbean, Suriname, and Guyana, he assumes a position of comprehensive leadership within the Advisory Line of Service. Their primary focus areas within the Advisory domain encompass driving organizational transformations, delivering technology-enabled business support services, overseeing governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, as well as providing advice on holistic process optimization and organizational change management strategies.

Additionally, as the Managing Director for Grant Thornton Suriname, he leads efforts to position the office for international service delivery, while also catering to the local Surinamese marketplace. This dual approach, referred to as the ABC of Service Delivery, is made feasible through the utilization of delivery center capabilities in Suriname, alongside dedicated and ambitious client teams operating within a global client ecosystem.
