Suhendra Leon
After graduating in 2012 at the University of Amsterdam with a master’s degree in general civil law, Suhendra immediately started working at a reputable law firm on her native island, Curaçao. After 5 years she left this firm to gain experience in the private sector. As such she worked as a corporate legal counsel for an international shipping company with headquarters in Curaçao before moving to Sint Maarten in 2019. In Sint Maarten she joined BZSE attorneys at law as a senior associate. Her practice consists of advising and litigating in general civil law matters, with a particular specialization in employment law. Suhendra writes a monthly employment law column in the Weekender, a supplement to the Daily Herald (Sint Maarten).
Camiel Koster
Camiel graduated in 2003 in Civil law and European Union law at the University of Utrecht. During his studies he participated in an exchange program and attended the University of East London. Camiel has more than 15 years of experience practicing law. On March 1, 2010 Camiel joined BZSE attorneys at law, the largest law firm on Sint Maarten. On January 1, 2017 he became a partner at BZSE. Currently he is one of the managing partners of BZSE. His practice predominantly consists of litigation, in majority in employment, real estate, timeshare and general contract cases. Camiel advised and litigated on employment related matters in large reconstructions and take-overs.
